Light Grip

The Light Grip combines a deliberately gentle ferrite magnet with a large Ø 50 mm suction base and the SAVONT soap disc Ø 24 mm.

Vertically, it holds lighter soaps with as little pull on the soap material as possible. Horizontally, its large support area helps carry even very heavy or mechanically sensitive soaps.

For vertical use, we recommend soaps up to approx. 60 g.

The low magnetic force means only a small amount of pull acts on the soap and soap disc when the bar is removed. This is especially useful for soaps whose material is more sensitive to mechanical stress.

In horizontal use, a second advantage comes into play: the Light Grip’s large support area supports the soap and carries its own weight.

This means weight and leverage do not act permanently as tensile stress on the soap disc. As a result, even very heavy soaps up to approx. 300 g can be used horizontally.

This horizontal support can be especially useful for heavy, very hard or structurally sensitive soaps.

The strength of the Light Grip is not maximum magnetic force, but keeping stress on the soap material as low as possible.

Very soft soaps, for example many Melt & Pour and glycerin soaps: the low magnetic force reduces the risk of the soap disc being pulled out of the soft material when the soap is removed.

Brittle or fracture-prone soaps, including many syndet bars: with convex or elliptical soap shapes, additional leverage can act on the area around the soap disc. A low pulling force can significantly reduce this stress on the material.

Very hard soaps, where the soap disc may not be able to insert fully into the material: here too, the gentle magnetic force helps keep tensile stress low.

In horizontal use, the large support area adds an additional material-protecting effect.
