Refund policy

1. Statutory right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or self-employed professional activity.

Business customers are not granted a voluntary right of withdrawal. For business customers, the statutory rights relating to defects and the provisions of our General Terms and Conditions apply.

2. Withdrawal policy

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day:

  • on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods, if you ordered one item or several items as part of a single order and these are delivered together;
  • on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item, if you ordered several items as part of a single order and these are delivered separately;
  • on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last partial shipment or the last piece, if the goods are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces.

by means of a clear statement, for example by email, letter or WhatsApp message, of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

3. Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments received from you, including delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

This does not apply to any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal from this contract to the return address stated below.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functionality.

4. Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or decision by you is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to your personal needs.

This applies in particular to individually designed, personalised or customer-specific products, insofar as they cannot readily be sold elsewhere.

The right of withdrawal may also be excluded for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

5. Voluntary returns outside the statutory right of withdrawal

We grant voluntary returns beyond the statutory right of withdrawal only if this has been expressly promised in the respective offer, by customer service or in an individual agreement.

Your statutory rights, in particular the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers and statutory rights relating to defects, remain unaffected.

6. Refunds for damaged or defective goods

If goods are damaged, incorrectly delivered or defective, please contact us as soon as possible at info@savont.de.

If possible, please include the following information:

  • order number
  • brief description of the problem
  • photo of the damaged or defective goods
  • photo of the packaging, if there is transport damage

Your statutory rights relating to defects remain unaffected.

7. Model withdrawal form
